Yesterday, we were watching this movie called NANA on the lobby, which was highly recommended by Shi and Sophia (thanks!). At first I was a little bit skeptical about watching this movie, but after the first 10 minutes I was proved wrong.

The Last Supper… with Naoki
16 09 2007After coming back from having dinner with Valentin at Yoyogi Park, we were gonna watch a movie in the lobby, but instead, we all ended up in Naoki’s room having even more food.
Everybody brought something, and we had quite a good time together.
Naoki’s leaving tomorrow so, this was probably the last chance for everyone to say their good byes and everything.
So, here we are all gathered. Everyone was taking their last pictures of Naoki as you can see.

Auf Wiedersehen!!!
16 09 2007Lots of people are leaving the lodge lately, since the maximum term of stay in the dormitory is of one year, and also, many have finished their term of study here in Japan.
So, this time was Valentin’s turn for a party, since he will be going back soon to Germany. The original plan was to go to some restaurant in Shimokitazawa, but somehow we ended up buying bento and eating together at Yoyogi Park.
Jiang and Shi gossiping in the lobby. They were most likely talking about me, since it was only the three of us over there at that time.

さらば!! Naoki!!
14 09 2007Last week was Lukas, this time is Naoki’s. Naoki is going back to Switzerland on Tuesday, so we wanted to do something together with him before he leaves.
So, we had all-you-can-eat pizza for lunch at Shakey’s Pizza. (again)
Paulo and Naoki. I think that, by now, most people should have noticed already that there’s some kind of pattern that gets repeated in almost every picture that is taken in Japan.

Enoshima – 江ノ島
9 09 2007It was today at around 10:00 am, and I was soundly sleeping, when all of a sudden I hear my cellphone ringing. It was Ben telling me that they were going to the beach, so well, since I was already awake, I decided to go.
So, Ben, Luke, Baska, Jiang and me ended up going to Enoshima, probably the nearest beach to Tokyo.
There was quite a few people over there (like in every other part of Japan
).

Festival Brasil 2007
9 09 2007On Saturday, Eliza, Rene and me went to Yoyogi Park to the Festival Brasil 2007. At first, I wasn’t planning to go, but since I woke up extremely early (I was having very weird dreams, so I couldn’t sleep more), and my friend Eiko told me she was going as well that morning, I decided to go.
So… We could see a lot of “traditional” things from Brazil over there.
For example, in this stage, a lot of extremely unknown artists (at least for me) were performing “traditional” brazilian music (in japanese… did you know that the official language from Brazil is japanese?? yeah, me neither).
Also, on the stage was performed the “traditional” ceremony of public complaining about random insignificant ridiculous stuff.

Lukas’ Farewell @ Samurai Chinese!!!
7 09 2007As posted before, Lukas was missing the banks, the chocolates and the Alps, so he’s going back to Switzerland this Monday. Banks add a quite charming touch to the scenery I think.
So, in order to celebrate it (or mourn it, I seriously don’t know), we decided to go and have dinner around Shibuya.
We met at the lobby around 7:00 p.m., miraculously almost everyone was there on time.
Anna, Felipe, Lukas, Luke and someone’s arm.

Sayonara Switzerland!!!
5 09 2007So, yesterday night was the farewell party for our swiss friends, Lukas and Naoki, since the term of their scholarship has ended. It’s sort of sad, but at least we now have somewhere to stay in Switzerland.
At the beginning of the party, there was only Felipe, Sarah, Lukas and Fernando (me) over there.
